Sr. Front End Engineer (Remote)

Seattle, WA
We’re working with one of our favorite Pacific Northwest clients, building a team of passionate software engineers to own a significant swath of their e-commerce and customer engagement platforms.  This engineer will be front-end focused in JavaScript, React, and one or more event data collection tools (such as Snowplow, Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Segment, Omniture, or Adobe Analytics) and C#/.NET to establish the foundation for the company’s next level of growth.

Our ideal candidate is growth-minded, loves challenge, has at least 7-10 years of experience in software development in a scaled modern expression of the Microsoft stack, an enthusiastic passion for customer experience and industry-leading innovation, and a team-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply a passion for the front end and customer experience, along with an ethos of innovation, to the site-wide greenfield implementation of our next-gen event data collection platform
  • Work with the product owners and the development team to build out of our large-scale production data solutions strategy
  • Promote a cross-team culture of accountability, customer obsession, and quality focus
  • Build commercial-grade, highly-scaled, complex backend systems (C#/.NET) that can support significant user interaction and rapidly-changing business needs
  • Focus on pragmatic, flexible solutions without over-engineering
  • Work with agile methodologies, such as extreme programming, test-driven development, and pair programming
Requirements:
  • 3+ years front-end experience in C#, .NET and Azure, delivering commercial products and services at scale
  • 2+ years experience in JavaScript and a modern framework (React, Angular, etc.)
  • 2+ years experience with event data collection tools like Snowplow, Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Segment, Omniture, Adobe Analytics
  • Recent experience creating and building out large-scale production data solutions
  • Familiarity with data-driven marketing, product insights, and other common data use cases
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering
  • Play well with others, don't be a jerk, etc.  (This is a very collaborative team with high esprit de corp and no room for toxicity.)
We pay very competitively and have excellent healthcare and other benefits. This is a remote consulting opportunity, recruiting within the US only. Unfortunately, at this time we are not able to provide sponsorship for employment and request no agency submissions. Thank you!
